Great Examples of American Material Culture.....Antiques and Folk Art

I am always looking for Americana that is special in design, color, history, or rarity. Unlike mass produced contemporary objects, these pieces of early material culture in the form of antiques and folk art allow us to decorate our homes in ways that are unique and interesting, often beautiful, and encouraging wonderful conversations. In short, pieces that make us feel good about them and our passion to understand, to appreciate, and to acquire them. On this website please find a selection of current offerings. I would love to talk to you about them. Also, I am constantly looking for more. Please call or email if you have a piece or two that you think I might like.

I am happy to offer layaways!

Many of my customers purchase pieces over time, please contact me for details.

All items guaranteed as represented!

I am a member of the ADA, a select group of dealers invited to join the association because of a strong reputation for integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct, and for representing fine antiques and art. All of my items are guaranteed as per my descriptions!

Why do we appreciate art and antiques?

A quote from Abby Aldrich Rockefeller in 1926: "....art is one of the great resources of my life. I feel it enriches the spirtual life and makes one more sane and sympathetic, more observant and understanding as well as being good for one's nerves". I find these words equally apply for antiques as they do art....

Always seeking to buy items of similar period and quality

I always look forward to acquiring early items with exceptional form and condition. Please feel free to contact me about items that you might like to sell.
